This building, designed by Hans Scharoun and constructed in the early 1960s, is, for me at least, one of the most beautiful architectural structures in Berlin.

Any time I was nearby I’d take a little extra time to visit it, to shoot details, different angles, different facades. A simple, casual project that progressed slowly over the seasons.
